US TARIFFS
OUR APPROACH
STATUS 17 APRIL 2025*
The regulatory landscape is changing quite rapidly. Some days the tariffs look excessive and others they don't.
Maggie the Label ships products internationally as Delivery Duties Unpaid (DDU). This means that international customers pay duties to their local customs office once goods arrive (where applicable).
As things stand, from 2 May 2025, US customers will be required to pay a 125% tariff for all orders under $800 USD and a 145% tariff for all orders over $800 USD. The $800 USD figure includes shipping costs.
As of the status date, we are considering pausing our services to the US market from Midnight (Australian Eastern Standard Time), 22 April 2025.
This will allow 10 days for all orders placed beforehand to ship into the US with express postage. This should avoid customers having to pay any of the tariffs outlined above.
We encourage all US based customers to order before the advertised deadline above.
This status is subject to change depending on announcements by the US Government with respect to tariffs.
SHIPPING
WORLDWIDE SHIPPING AVAILABLE
Australian Shipping
Standard Shipping
A flat rate of AUD $8 applies to all orders under $150.00
Free standard shipping is available for all orders over $150.00
Express Shipping
A flat rate of AUD $10 applies to all orders under $250.00
Free express shipping is available for all orders over $250.00
International Shipping
For your convenience, all orders for customers outside of Australia will be shipped by an express service.
Free Express Shipping for all orders valued over $300 (excluding EU countries).
The following costs apply based on the nominated regions for orders valued under $300:
- New Zealand: $12 AUD
- Asia and Polynesian regions: $15 AUD
- Europe, Middle East, Canada & USA: $20 AUD
Import Tax
Deliveries may be subject to local import fees or taxes, this will be calculated through your local customs office and is subject to the shipping policies within your country.
The customer is solely responsible for any additional costs. This cost will be charged through the courier service used and an order can only be received once payment is made.
Should a delivery be refused, the cost of the original and return shipping will be charged to the customer and taken from any potential refund.
Please note, there may be a minimum threshold for imported goods into your country. For any larger orders, we would recommend checking these requirements with your local customs office.

Tracking
Tracking details will be shared with you via email on the day that your order is fulfilled so you can follow your order through to delivery.
DELIVERY TIMES
All orders are shipped with Australia Post. Your order will be dispatched within 1 - 2 business days.
Standard express postage times then apply for your circumstances, e.g. 1-4 business days for shipping with Australia and 2-10 business days for international postage.
If you have special instructions relating to the delivery, please be sure to indicate these on the delivery instructions as you are checking out.

You can track your order here by entering the tracking number supplied in your Order Confirmation email.
REFUNDS + RETURNS
REFUNDS
If an item is faulty, if you have selected the wrong size and an alternative size in the same style is unavailable or if the style does not suit you then we will fully refund you for the purchase price of your items.
The refund must be requested within 30 days of the date of delivery and the refund will be processed once we receive the item(s).
The returned item(s) must be unworn, unwashed, unused and in its(their) original condition with all tags intact.
The garment(s) must be placed in its (their) original packaging with the barcode and SKU information visible. The customer will bear all costs associated with return postage.
Store credits in your local currency or exchanges are also available.
EXCHANGES
For exchanges, item(s) need to be returned within 30 days of the date of delivery. The exchange item(s) must be unworn, unwashed, unused and in its(their) original condition with all tags intact. The garments must be placed in their original packaging with the barcode and SKU information visible.
We will then ensure that the new item is dispatched within 1-2 business days. The customer will bear all costs associated with return postage. Exchanges on sale items are subject to stock availability. If exchange stock isn't available, a refund will be offered. For further information, please email orders@maggiethelabel.com.au
Bundles
A partial or full exchange from a bundle deal will be accepted based on stock availability.
PRIVACY
YOUR PRIVACY IS IMPORTANT
Your Privacy is super important to us and we are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act as well as other applicable legislation. The reason why we collect your personal information is to create orders and provide services. We promise not share your personal information with any third parties and will not add you to our mailing services unless you have requested to be added.
AUTHORITY TO LEAVE
By proceeding with a purchase the customer gives the authority to leave packages at their doorstep. Should the customer not intend to give this authority, an email should be sent to orders@maggiethelabel.com.au by the customer stating that they do not give authority to leave packages at their doorstep. The customer's order will then be dispatched accordingly.
